At Engines Direct, we are committed to fast, reliable, and secure shipping—both across the United States and internationally. Our shipping process is designed to ensure timely delivery, transparent tracking, and full customer satisfaction.
📦 Order Processing Time
Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days.
Orders placed before 1 PM (PST) on business days are typically shipped the same day.
Orders placed after 1 PM (PST) or on weekends/holidays will be shipped the next business day.
Out-of-stock items will be shipped within 1 business day of restocking. Customers will be notified by email if an item is delayed or unavailable.
🇺🇸 Domestic Shipping (USA)
We ship to all 48 contiguous states using trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
Shipping times range between 3–7 business days, depending on location and selected service.
Shipping charges are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination at checkout.
Tracking information will be provided via email once your order is dispatched.
🏝️ For orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands — please contact us before placing your order for custom shipping arrangements.
🌍 International Shipping
We proudly ship worldwide. However, please note:
Customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees are the customer’s responsibility and vary by destination.
Estimated delivery times are provided at the time of shipment but may vary due to customs processing and local regulations.
We are not liable for customs delays, local delivery restrictions, or other government-related issues.
For large/heavy items such as engines, transmissions, or outboard motors, custom freight quotes may be required. Please contact us directly for international freight rates and handling procedures.
🛑 Unforeseen Delays
While we strive to ensure on-time delivery, some situations are beyond our control, including:
Severe weather conditions
Natural disasters or emergencies
Carrier or logistics partner delays
Peak season shipping congestion
Supply chain disruptions or backorders
In such cases, we will keep you informed via email and work to resolve the delay as quickly as possible.
📍 Where We Ship
We only ship to the verified address provided at checkout.
For fraud prevention and order security, we do not reroute or redirect packages once they are in transit.
A tracking number will be provided by email once your order ships.
📦 Damaged or Lost Shipments
Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery.
If your shipment is damaged or lost, contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date.
Note visible damage with the carrier upon delivery when possible.
We will assist in filing a claim with the shipping carrier and provide a replacement or refund once resolved.
🔁 Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging.
All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number — packages sent without an RA number will be refused.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or sent in error.
For defective items, no replacement will be sent until the original part has been received and inspected.
